University of Houston - Victoria This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. This program prepares students for excellent career opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Graduates who go on to complete 150 hours consistently score well on the CPA exam. The program includes real-world applied learning, case studies, and team projects. Graduates can pursue positions in the private or not-for-profit industry. Graduates that can opt for careers in public accounting to provide consulting, tax, and auditing services to both individual and organizational clients. These students go beyond the BBA in Accounting to pursue a masters degree which allows them to satisfy the 150-hour requirement for Certified Public Accountants.

The Applied Arts and Sciences degree allows students to concentrate in Biology, Communication, Computer Information Science, Digital Gaming and Simulation, General Business, Leadership and Enterprise Studies, Legal Assistance and Administration, Marketing, and Psychology. The B.A.A.S. degree is unique because students who have vocational or technical training may be able to apply these hours towards a bachelor's degree. The Behavioral Sciences/Psychology degree allows students to combine courses in anthropology, psychology, and sociology according to their interests and goals.
