The University Advancement Committee of the University of Houston System Board of Regents convened in the Melcher Board Room of the Athletics/Alumni Center on Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Noting the presence of a quorum, Chairman Cemo called the meeting to order at 8:45 a.m.  

Before the presentations of the items, Chair Cemo thanked Spencer Yantis for serving in the interim position of Vice Chancellor/Vice President for University Advancement and praised Mr. Yantis for his work during this period.

Regent Cemo announced that there were no action items to be considered by the committee.   The following items were presented by Mr. Yantis for information and require no further action by the committee or the board:

1. Overview of Private Support - UH System


2. UH System Support Organizations - UH System

All documentation submitted to the Board in support of the foregoing action items, including but not limited to "Passed" agenda items and supporting documentation presented to the Board, is incorporated herein and made a part of these minutes for all purposes.

There being no further business to come before the committee, the meeting adjourned at 8:50 a.m.
