UH Carnegie Application	This application was submitted in September 2008 to the Carnege Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching for elective classification in Community Engagement. In December 2008, Carnegie awarded UH classification in Community Engagement: Curricular Engagement and Outreach &Partnerships. *.pdf, 49 pages

Chronicle of Higher Education, 01/19/09	NCAA to Develop Another 'Academic-Progress Rate' for Coaches "The NCAA has tracked the academic performance of all Division I teams and institutions for the last several years, calculating an academic-progress rate for each. The rate reflects how much progress college athletes are making toward their degrees and how well they are performing in the classroom. ... The proposed new rate would be the first attempt to attach a team’s academic-progress rate to its coach and have the scores follow coaches as they move from institution to institution."
